Ross T Riddell
After dedicating 21 years to the Fire Service, culminating in a Public Safety Manager role for Auckland Airport in New Zealand, Ross left the uniformed world to embark on a consultancy career.
Over the past 25 years, he has been instrumental in designing training programs, fire training facilities, and procuring vehicles and equipment for governments.
He was even selected by the World Bank for a major vehicle infrastructure and consultancy projects in the South Pacific.
Due to his Māori heritage, Ross has a deep respect for all cultures and a real understanding of the importance of building and maintaining relationships in all lands. This emphasis on relationships and respect is something that has been entrenched in his professional and personal life.

Gavin Watts
Chief Fire Officer
Gavin is an experienced fire and rescue professional with a wide range of experience in emergency services. A former Chief Fire Officer, he has held important positions such as Equipment/Fleet Officer, Resources Manager, Assistant/Deputy Chief Officer, and Director of Operations for West Sussex County Council.
He has a degree in Fire Engineering and Management, a Postgraduate Certificate in Strategic Leadership, and is a certified auditor.
Gavin has achieved a number of successes, including creating a 10-year risk management plan for a local authority fire and rescue service, overseeing de-merger and merger for emergency call handling functions, merging major vehicle fleet functions, being the Senior Regional Coordinator for Covid testing and implementing emergency mortuary provision during the pandemic.
Gavin is an experienced fire engineering and management professional with a wide range of experience in emergency services.
Peter Moore
Chief Fire Officer
Peter is currently the Chief of the second biggest Airport in New Zealand (Christchurch) and has a wealth of experience in both aircraft and structural firefighting in over a 40 year career .
He has a Graduate Diploma in Emergency Management from Massey University in New Zealand and is a Fellow of the New Zealand Fire Brigades Institute. Peter is an experienced and knowledgeable professional in the field of Task Resource Analysis (TRA) having completed TRAs for airports in New Zealand and abroad, Peter has a passion for training and mentoring.
He has helped several airports set up their Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services and in that process has provided initial training and writing of Operations Manual and Training Programs and Airport Emergency Plans. Peter is a true professional who sets high standards for himself and those working with him.
