Although we probably have a good idea what we want, making sure that we get what we are asking for is another matter. It is impossible for every vehicle manufacturer to supply the exact requirement, but it is possible for them to come very close to what is wanted.

The skill to doing that is the way the specification is written and the knowledge of those selected to carry out the inspection process and the testing process.
